Dr. Jesse Witkoff, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who has been practicing since 1993, is the founder of A Wild Smile Pediatric Dentistry in Denver. He has been treating infants, children, and adults with Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) and performing releases (frenectomies) for the last 6 years.
Throughout his many years as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Jesse has seen the positive impact that tongue and lip tie release treatments (frenectomies) can have on babies, youth, adolescents, adults and their families.
Frenectomies are particularly personal for Dr. Jesse because he suffered from numerous issues related to his own tongue tie that went undiagnosed well into adulthood. When he finally had a frenectomy in 2017, Dr. Jesse was amazed that much of his chronic neck and back pain was greatly relieved, and his breathing and airway issues (including obstructive sleep apnea) improved. After years of trying to chase down the cause of these issues to no avail, he was shocked to see that such a simple, minimally invasive procedure could solve so many problems – not just trouble with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. That’s when Dr. Jesse knew that he wanted to provide education about tongue ties and airway issues and dedicate his whole practice to this life-changing treatment.
In August 2018, Dr. Jesse Witkoff founded Colorado Tongue Tie so he could focus specifically on tongue and lip tie releases. Our sole purpose at Colorado Tongue Tie is to help babies, children and their families thrive. Specializing in frenectomies and focusing solely on this procedure allows Dr. Jesse to spend an extensive amount of time with each patient and to really understand and support your individual needs while providing the highest level of care.
With a network of like-minded pediatric medical professionals, Colorado Tongue Tie prides itself on partnering with patients and parents to educate, diagnose, treat, and support families with any challenges related to tongue ties. Call us today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Jesse!

Hi, I have been a pediatric dental assistant since 2012. I love working with my patients and I’m always excited to further my education. I am a native to Denver Colorado and spend most of my time with my family which includes my husband, two sons and my three daughters. As a family we love playing softball, camping, and swimming.
I have a passion for supporting families. I have been a pediatric dental assistant for about seven years. Some of my other skills include being certified as a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a yoga instructor and specialize in prenatal asana. Being able to be a part of peoples healing journey is special, helping kids and adults overcome chronic issues is truly amazing. As a Colorado native and as a married mom of two we are always looking for new adventures, and love hiking, biking, and spending time in the mountains.
Hi, I am a native to Colorado and I have been a pediatric dental assistant for 7 years. It has always been a passion of mine to work with children. I love my job, as it not only allows me to help children feel safe in a dental environment but also allows me to educate families. When I’m not busy at work I spend my time being a mom to my two kiddos and our pug.
Hello, I love working with Colorado Tongue Tie. It warms my heart to see all the babies and kids with caregivers invested in their wellbeing. My background is in social work, and I have always had a strong desire to help families and children of all ages. My husband and I started our family in Idaho and have now been married 28 years with two grown children. Like most natives, I too enjoy being outside walking or gardening.
Hi! I have been in the dental field since 2004 as a surgical assistant, EDDA, assistant manager, and patient care coordinator. I studied at Metropolitan State University in organizational communications and nutrition. I love the opportunity to help people better understand their options for treatment and towards their health. As a Colorado native I love to garden and am constantly looking for new recipes to make. When I’m not busy with my garden I enjoy spending time with my husband and fur babies.
I graduated from Everest with my certification in dental assisting about 4 years ago. From that time I have primarily worked in pediatric dentistry. Really love it when you can give a smile to a patient or family and get one back. I have a great opportunity in this office to spread smiles and help parents and patients through treatment. I am a Colorado native. When I am not at work you can find me exploring new things with my daughter. We love finding new parks or places to walk our dogs.
At Colorado Tongue Tie, your comfort is one of our top priorities. We want you and your family to feel welcome and at ease in our office, so we offer amenities to ensure that your visit with us is a positive experience. Our refreshment center includes a coffee bar and bottled water to keep you hydrated in the waiting room. We also have tranquil breastfeeding rooms for mothers, so you can try nursing immediately after your baby’s treatment.
